ABSTRACT
Despite the increased interest in the gay and lesbian market, relatively little is known about how gay and lesbian consumers utilise media, as well as their views and attitudes toward advertising. Collecting and analysing data relevant to these two areas serves as the primary objectives of this study. In addition, advertising implications flowing from this analysis are presented and discussed, beginning with background information on the gay and lesbian consumer.
